Biography

Aleksandra is a collaborative pianist at home working both with singers and instrumentalists. She has performed in Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Hungary, China and around the U.K. (including Wigmore Hall, Barbican Hall, St. Martin in the Fields, ROSL, Anvil Basingstoke) where she was also a guest on BBC Radio 3 In Tune programme.

Young Artist programmes include Britten Pears (2023/24), Renée Fleming Song Studio (2024), Lied the future (Schubertiada, Vilabertran 2024). Among previous awards are Edith Poulsen Accompanist Prize, Brenda Webb Award for Accompanists, as well as the Artistic Scholarship of the Polish Ministry of Culture and 1st prize in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Budapest. She is a City Music Foundation Artist and will release her debut CD with baritone Florian Störtz in 2025, when she will also start freelancing with the Royal Opera House as a répétiteur with conducting duties.

Aleksandra's colourful and fearless music making is shaped by her extensive experience as a recitalist and concerto soloist, perfected in studies with Ferenc Rados, Michel Béroff, Leon Fleisher and Fou Ts’ong.

Aleksandra has been described as an effortless communicator with performances that “touch hearts” as well as showing intelligence and profound devotion to the music.
