Repertoire
We perform a variety of Spanish, Latin American, French, Italian, German, English, Contemporary and Scots Song Repertoire. We are passionate about decolonising the art song as well as developing new intercultural, multistylistic projects which encourage musicians to collaborate across traditional boundaries.
Biography
This duo brings together “two of Scotland’s finest classical musicians” (What’s On Renfrewshire). Both Scottish, but with successful careers that have taken them all over the world, soprano Alison McNeill with “a voice to die for” (Dunoon Observer), performs with pianist Toni James who “exceeded the gold standard and moved on to platinum” (Fanfare Magazine).
Following appearances at Tannahill Arts and Edinburgh Fringe festivals, the duo will release their recording of Antón García Abril’s Siete Canciones de Amor in 2025. They have performed work by some of the finest composers working today, including as members of Scotland’s preeminent vocal chamber music collective Scottish Voices.
