Biography
We are a flute and harp duo from RCS named ‘Apollo’s Melody’. Yeva is a harpist from Kyiv, Ukraine. After completing her Masters degree at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy, she worked with National Orchestras and Ensembles of Ukraine, took part in studio recordings for the National Radio and Television of Ukraine. As part of symphony orchestra, she visited many countries in Europe, Great Britain, Asia and the Middle East. Nowadays she continues to teach students online from Ukraine, the Uk and Japan. She currently continues her concert activity in Glasgow and is studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Lily has recently graduated from her Masters in flute performance at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, where she had been studying under the tutelage of Ruth Morley, Helen Brew, Katherine Bryan, Georgia Browne, Janet Richardson and Luke Russell. She was the winner of the Governor’s Recital Prize for Woodwind 2024 and was awarded the David Nicholson Flute Award for Travel and Study. Lily and Yeva have enjoyed being coached as a duo by principal flute of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, André Cebrián.
