Biography
Dick's latest band is a quintet featuring some of Scotland’s finest jazz performers, assembled to play hot and sweet swing jazz from both sides of the Atlantic.
Creative Scotland Award winner and winner of the BBC Big Band Competition, Dick plays clarinet, bass clarinet, soprano sax and recorder. The band also features the duelling guitars of Conor Smith and Timmy Allan, the tasteful trumpet of Lorne Cowieson and the springy bass of Owen MacDonald.
