The renowned Evva & Emma Duo joins forces with one of the most exciting
UK clarinet players Peter Cigleris.
About Evva & Emma Duo:
Formed in 2003, the Evva & Emma Duo has performed in many European countries and in such British venues as Fairfield Halls, Cheltenham Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields and St George's, Bristol. Other performances include appearances at the Salzburger Schlosskonzerte, Aldo Ciccolini Musical Association (Naples), Koscierzyna Chamber Music Festival (Poland), Pump Room (Bath), Chester Summer Music Festival, Hexham Abbey Festival of Music and Arts and various festivals and concert societies throughout the UK. Their discography includes world-première recordings by Krzysztof Meyer, Algernon Ashton and Stephen Dodgson, critically acclaimed in magazines such as The Strad, International Record Review, German Fonoforum and American Fanfare – where the Meyer album was selected as one of the five best CDs of 2009.

Clarinettist Peter Cigleris is in demand as a soloist and chamber musician.
Peter has appeared on BBC Radio Three’s In Tune programme talking with Sean Rafferty and playing live with the Tippett Quartet. He has also performed live for the BBC in the Radio Three lunchtime recital.
Peter has worked with Martin Cousin, Mark Bebbington, Julian Lloyd Webber performing for various music clubs and festivals around the UK including, the Windsor and Wooburn Festival, English Music Festival, Carlisle International Music Festival and the ICA ClarinetFest.
Internationally Peter has performed at the Groba Festival in Spain, recitals in France, Netherlands and the US. Concerto appearances include Belgium for the ICA ClarinetFest, Italy, Romania, Hungary and Mexico. Peter’s interest in English repertoire has seen him premier concertos and chamber music by Gipps, Benjamin, Wishart, Spain-Dunk as well as contemporaries such as Lloyd Moore and Peter Seabourne.
As a solo recording artist Peter has a growing discography. Peter’s most recent release ‘Rediscovered’ on the Cala Signum label has Peter as soloist with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales featuring four British clarinet concertos, of which three are world premiere recordings. The disc has been extremely well received by reviewers and listeners allike. Peter has featured on discs for Cala Records, Heritage Records and Toccata Classics.
