Percussi Aeris
“The combination of Chris Flynn’s outstandingly virtuosic playing and utter mastery of his instrument combined with the fluidity and technical prowess that Paula O'Malley possesses on percussion, piano and organ brings together a group that is truly unique. It's rare to come across a duo with such innate chemistry. I very much look forward to seeing what this group achieves.”
“I have seen first-hand their proactive approach with a firm desire to promote and expand the repertoire and overall status of their respective instruments. Set against a climate of financial cuts and lack of support for arts organisations, ensembles and projects, I would have no hesitation in recommending Percussi Aeris as a fresh, proactive and hardworking duo which will entertain and inspire.”

Biography
Formed in 2024, Percussi Aeris is a percussion and euphonium duo based in Scotland, aiming to innovate and captivate audiences with a diverse repertoire that includes anything from classical transcriptions, jazz and funk-inspired music, to contemporary music. They have commissioned modern composers such as Christopher Bond and Matthew Eden to write pieces for euphonium and various percussion instruments.
Percussi Aeris is the result of a decade-long friendship and musical partnership between Paula and Chris. Both have a passion for chamber music and championing unique repertoire, which they believe Percussi Aeris will achieve.
