Classical EDI Development Fund
Delivered in partnership with Creative Scotland, our Classical EDI Development Fund aims to support a cohort of artists and representatives of arts organisations to undertake professional development activities that will inform and progress EDI practices within Scotland's classical music sector.
The 2023/24 awardees of our Classical EDI Development Fund are: Katrina Lee (Musician), Catherine Ferrell (General Manager, Scottish Ensemble), Simone Seales (Musician), Neil Fox (Director of Engagement, NYOS), Ailie Robertson (Musician), Carol Main (Director, LMNS) and Paul Chamberlain (Musician).
Our awardees are supported by expert EDI consultants: Berginald Rash, Francine Gorman, Roz De Vile and Matthew Swann. With specialist backgrounds in gender equality, LGBTQ+ equality, and anti-racism, our consultants will provide mentorship and expert guidance throughout the programme. There will also be additional support from the Chamber Music Scotland team and Emma Campbell, Music Officer at Creative Scotland.
Chamber Music Scotland gratefully acknowledges support from Creative Scotland
